Addison Farms Vineyard


Addison Farms is a family owned and operated vineyard, winery, and tasting room on 55 acres in Leicester, NC.  The farmland has been in their family since 1937. They are located in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains, 17 miles northwest of Asheville, NC. Our elevation allows for nearly 360° of mountain views. 

In 2009, Addison Farms Vineyard planted the first acre of what is planned to be a 10 acre vineyard. The vineyard has expanded a little each year, currently at 5 acres. It is at an elevation between 2250' and 2300'.

As of April 2014, we have six varieties in the vineyard: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Petit Verdot, and Petit Manseng.

Cyclist Parking: Addison Farms Vineyard has designated parking for cyclists while you enjoy your ride.  

Monday-Thursday 8:30 am-5 pm, 7 designated spots and Friday-Sunday 8:30 am-5 pm, 3 designated spots.  Please plan to be back to support the farm before the tasting room closes at 5 pm; a quick hello is always appreciated before you head out on your ride.
